We are moving closer to the stage later this month! There are\u00a0some key dates now loaded on the schedule and I wanted to send them out here as well. Our work days have lots of sign ups, we could use some more people for our tech move-in dates. IMPORTANT NOTE REGARDING WORK DAYS:<\/b>\u00a0As part of a behind-the-scenes look on how community theatre works, Kerri-Lee will be recording on our work days. You may be in video or photographs and could even be asked some questions. Don’t be surprised when you see the camera around during work days.<\/span><\/div>

VOLUNTEERING<\/span><\/b><\/div>
We also have some other volunteer opportunities. Remember that family members can help with your required 10 hours.\u00a0<\/span><\/div>

One of the most important roles we are looking to fill are Childminders during the shows – these adults (18+) will supervise the children under 13 and ensure they are safe while they are not expected to be on stage. You can register for this role here:\u00a0<\/span><\/div>

Finally, we ALSO have some great Front of House positions available. These roles are as follows:\u00a0<\/span><\/div>

Box office<\/b>: manning our box office pre-show and selling tickets in person for anyone that wants to get some last minute tickets. This role requires the use of our ticket POS system (training provided)<\/span><\/div>
\u00a0<\/span><\/div>
Ushering<\/b>: handing out programs and helping people find their seats before the show\u00a0<\/span><\/div>
\u00a0<\/span><\/div>
Concessions:\u00a0<\/b>manning a concession cart and selling snacks and drinks pre-show and during intermission. This role requires the use of a simple POS system on an iPad (training provided)\u00a0<\/span><\/div>
\u00a0<\/span><\/div>
50\/50 ticket sales<\/b>: selling 50\/50 tickets for our nightly draw.<\/span><\/div><\/div>

COSTUMING<\/b><\/div>
Some cast members were asked to provide white shirts, jeans or other costume items. If you have an outstanding item, please be sure to bring this in ASAP and give it to Rai. If you haven’t yet secured your show shoes, definitely get that done soon. We have a costume parade on April 13th, which means everyone will try on their final costume, so be sure you bring in all your shoes that day if you are wearing different pairs.<\/div>

CANADA DAY<\/b><\/div>
This last bit isn’t show related but a continuing opportunity to be involved with TCP. We have been asked to sing the National Anthem at the Wilmot Canada Day Event on July 1st. You can register with Jaime here:\u00a0<\/div>

As we prepare for our Matilda Act 1 Run Through on March 23, we\u2019re excited to reach this first big milestone! It\u2019s a wonderful opportunity for our cast to see their hard work come to life, and to celebrate this moment, we\u2019d love to invite your family to join our TCP family for a\u00a0potluck dinner<\/strong>\u00a0that evening from 5:00pm to 6:30pm.<\/p>

Please bring a dish to share, and kindly provide an ingredient list so we can identify any potential allergens – we do have cast members with gluten, tree nut and seafood allergies.\u00a0<\/p>
